Police Officer (Secret Service Police), $75,000 Recruitment Incentive

About the role

This position is with the Secret Service Police. The Secret Service Police are responsible for providing security services to the President, Vice President, their families, and other high-ranking officials.

Responsibilities

• Provide security services to the President, Vice President, their families, and other high-ranking officials.
• Respond to emergencies and conduct investigations as needed.
• Interact with the public and maintain a professional demeanor.
• Perform related duties as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must pass a background investigation.
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job, including but not limited to, running, jumping, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of progressively responsible law enforcement experience.
• Must have completed a police academy program.
• Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a law enforcement capacity.

The Secret Service Police work a rotating schedule that includes days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
