Police Officer (Secret Service Police), $75,000 Recruitment Incentive

About the role

This position is part of the Secret Service Police. The Secret Service Police are responsible for protecting the President and Vice President, their families, and other high-ranking officials.

Responsibilities

• Provide security services to protect the President and Vice President, their families, and other high-ranking officials.
• Respond to emergencies and conduct investigations as needed.
• Interact with the public and media in a professional manner.
• Perform routine patrols and surveillance activities.
• Operate and maintain firearms and other equipment used in law enforcement.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must meet physical fitness standards.
• Must pass a background investigation.
• Must have a minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible law enforcement experience.

Qualifications

• Must have a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Must have a minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible law enforcement experience.
• Must have a valid law enforcement certification.

Pay
