About the role
This position is for Secret Service Police. The Secret Service Police are responsible for protecting the President of the United States and their families, other high-ranking government officials, and designated dignitaries.
Responsibilities
- Provide security and protection services to the President and other high-ranking government officials.
- Respond to emergencies and conduct investigations as needed.
- Interact with the public and maintain a professional demeanor.
- Participate in training and drills to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Must meet physical fitness standards.
- Must pass a background investigation.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of progressively responsible law enforcement experience.
- Completion of a police academy program.
- Knowledge of federal law and regulations relevant to law enforcement.
