About the role

This position is part of the Secret Service Police team, responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the President and other high-ranking officials.

Responsibilities

  • Patrol designated areas to deter criminal activity and ensure public safety
  • Investigate suspicious activities and provide assistance to local law enforcement agencies
  • Respond to emergencies and assist in crisis management situations
  • Conduct security checks and inspections of government facilities and events

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license
  • Successful completion of a background investigation
  • Ability to pass a physical fitness test
  • Knowledge of law enforcement procedures and practices

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of progressively responsible law enforcement experience
  • Completion of a police academy program
  • Active duty status in a federal, state, or local law enforcement agency

Pay

The starting salary for this position is $75,000, with an additional recruitment incentive available.

Schedule

Work hours are typically 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime required.
