About the role

This position is for Secret Service Police. The Secret Service Police are responsible for protecting the President and Vice President, their families, and other high-ranking officials.

Responsibilities

  • Provide security services to protect the President and Vice President, their families, and other high-ranking officials.
  • Respond to emergencies and conduct investigations as needed.
  • Interact with the public and media in a professional manner.
  • Perform routine patrols and surveillance activities.
  • Operate and maintain firearms and other equipment.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Must meet physical fitness standards.
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible law enforcement experience.
  • Must have a valid security clearance.

Qualifications

  • Must have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible law enforcement experience.
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years of specialized law enforcement experience in a protective or security capacity.
