About the role

This position is part of the Secret Service Police. The Secret Service Police are responsible for protecting the President and Vice President, their families, and other high-ranking officials. They also provide security at presidential events and other sensitive locations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide security for high-level government officials and events
  • Respond to emergencies and conduct investigations
  • Interact with the public in a professional manner
  • Perform routine patrols and surveillance

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of progressively responsible law enforcement experience
  • Must meet physical fitness standards
  • Must pass a background investigation

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of law enforcement procedures and protocols
