About the role

This position is with the Secret Service Police. The Secret Service Police are responsible for providing security services to the President, Vice President, their families, and other high-ranking officials.

Responsibilities

• Provide security services to the President, Vice President, their families, and other high-ranking officials.
• Respond to emergencies and conduct investigations as needed.
• Interact with the public and maintain a professional demeanor.
• Perform routine patrols and vehicle inspections.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must meet physical fitness standards.
• Must have a minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible law enforcement experience.
• Must have a valid security clearance.

Qualifications

• Must have a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, law enforcement, or a related field.
• Must have a minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible law enforcement experience.
• Must have a valid security clearance.

Schedule

The Secret Service Police work a rotating schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.
