POLICE OFFICER RECRUIT

Qualifications

• High School graduation or equivalent
• U.S. citizen or permanent resident alien who is eligible for, and has applied for citizenship, prior to appointment
• Minimum age 21 years at time of appointment as Police Officer
• Valid Class C California driver's license
• Good physical fitness and mental health as required by POST standards
• Must be able to work a variety of hourly shifts including holidays and weekends

Requirements

• Take the FrontLine National exam through National Testing Network within the last 6 months from the date of application
• If actively enrolled in a Police Academy, indicate this in the application
• Be willing and able to work a flexible schedule to include emergency call-in, call-back, shift work, nights, holidays and weekends
• Be at least 20 years old
• Agree to take the FrontLine National exam and undergo a comprehensive background investigation including a polygraph examination

Pay

$27.00 per hour
