Police Officer Part Time
Responsibilities
- Performs general law enforcement duties including patrolling hospital campus, checking property, conducting room searches, maintaining order and public safety.
- Issues traffic and parking citations; apprehends, questions and arrests suspects; collects and preserves evidence; conducts investigations; responds to and assists in all medical emergencies; assists in conducting fire drills and evacuating buildings; provides security escorts for personnel; and chauffeurs division heads and visitors as requested.
- Attends required periodic training sessions and seminars; maintains required level of proficiency in the use of firearms.
- Performs other duties as required to meet the client’s needs.
Qualifications
- Be at least 21 years of age
- You must be an active police officer not retired
- A High School Diploma or GED, Police ID, VPEC, and Firearm certification.
- North Carolina Basic Law Enforcement certification is required.
- Licenses requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- Able to: Work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow or heat
- Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds
- Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift
- Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time

$33.84 / Hour
Schedule
DayTime Thur 03:00 PM - 09:15 PM Fri 07:00 AM - 05:30 PM Sat 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
