POLICE OFFICER (LATERAL - EXPERIENCE REQUIRED)

About the role

The City of Buckeye is seeking a Police Officer to join our team. This position requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent, completion of the Arizona POST academy or another law enforcement academy, successful completion of an FTO program and probationary period, and at least 4 or more years of consecutive full-time sworn police officer experience.

Responsibilities

• Investigate criminal activity and respond to emergency calls
• Provide security and protection to citizens and property
• Conduct traffic stops and investigations
• Participate in community policing initiatives
• Ensure compliance with department policies and procedures

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Completion of the Arizona POST academy or other law enforcement academy
• Completion of an FTO program and probationary period
• At least 4 or more years of consecutive full-time sworn police officer experience

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong physical fitness and stamina
