About the role
The Police Officer - Entry Level position is responsible for providing law enforcement services within the city limits.
Responsibilities
- Enforce local laws and ordinances
- Respond to emergency calls and provide first aid as necessary
- Investigate crimes and gather evidence
- Patrol assigned areas to prevent crime and maintain public safety
- Communicate effectively with the public and other law enforcement agencies
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass a background check
- Physical fitness to perform the duties of the position
Qualifications
- Completion of a police academy program
- Knowledge of traffic control signals and practices
- Experience in crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques
Skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay
The starting salary for this position is $45,000 per year.
Schedule
