About the role

The primary mission of the University of California Police is the protection of life and property upon and adjacent to the University campus. The primary goal of the department is to accomplish its mission in a manner that enhances and supports the University's ability to deliver quality higher education and research opportunities in a peaceful learning environment. Officers employed by UCRPD serve in various roles in support of this mission.

Pay

The full salary range for the Police Officer is $100,766.88 - $126,699.84 annually. Salary offers are based on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.

Requirements

• Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, sponsorship or takeover of an employment Visa for staff is not available.
• Compliance with all applicable University policies and/or collective bargaining agreements, as may be amended from time to time, is required. Federal, state, or local government directives may impose additional requirements.
