Bargaining Unit Announcement: This is NOT a bargaining unit position with American Federation of State, County & Municipal Employees (AFSCME).

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Take police reports and conduct other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Required

• Required Education: Associate's degree (any field).
• Required Experience: No previous work experience required.
• Equivalent Qualifications: 2 years' experience as a certified PO; or 2 years' experience allowing for a combination of education (15 related credits equivalent to 6 months experience), and/or military service (honorably discharged), and/or certified PO experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Lateral Commissioned Officer with a minimum of two years of commissioned experience in law enforcement. Applicant must be in good standing or have recently left in good standing with their department.
