The City of Laurel, Mississippi is seeking an Entry-Level Police Officer.
Responsibilities
- Enforce laws and maintain public order
- Investigate crimes and gather evidence
- Provide emergency medical assistance when necessary
- Interact with the public in a professional manner
Requirements
- At least 21 years of age
- Valid MS drivers license
- High School diploma or GED
- Able to pass a background check
- Able to pass Entry-Level Police Officer Civil Service Examination
- Able to attend and successfully complete MS Law Enforcement Officer Training Academy
Qualifications
- U. S. Citizen and registered voter in the county where you reside
