About the role

Under the direct supervision of a Lieutenant, the incumbent performs day-to-day enforcement of municipal, state, and federal laws in a designated area on an assigned shift. Duties include making arrests, working accidents, testifying in court, conducting preliminary investigations, and enforcing traffic regulations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (required); college degree preferred
• Must be 21 years of age
• Must possess and maintain C.L.E.E.T. certification
• Must possess a valid Oklahoma driver license and be insurable
• Must meet medical requirements set forth by the Oklahoma Police Pension & Retirement System

Pay

Starting salary: $60,238–$63,177 per year with benefits.
