Police Officer

Responsibilities

- Patrol assigned areas to maintain public safety - Respond to emergency calls and provide appropriate assistance - Conduct investigations as required by law - Maintain records and reports related to assigned cases - Participate in training programs and drills

Requirements

• At least 21 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Ohio driver's license
• Peace Officer certification from the Ohio Peace Officer's Training Council

Qualifications

- Comprehensive benefit package including health insurance, pension, and tuition reimbursement - Opportunity to advance to top out pay ($47.27 per hour) - Assistance with Ohio Reciprocal Occupational Certificate application for lateral applicants from out of state - Flexible schedule with 12-hour shifts and a scheduled three-day weekend twice a month

Pay

Schedule
