About the role
The City of Hermitage is a growing, third-class, home-rule city spanning over 30 square miles with approximately 17,000 residents and a top-rated public school system. The police department consists of 31 full-time officers, including criminal investigators, corporals, sergeants, deputy chiefs, and the chief of police, along with civilian support staff. The department features a K-9 unit, two school resource officers, a modern police station, and well-equipped vehicles. Officers regularly receive specialized training opportunities, and several have graduated from the FBI National Academy.
