About the role
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of educators in developing innovative curricula and teaching methods that enhance student learning outcomes. They will also be expected to contribute to the academic and administrative life of the university.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement new educational programs and courses
- Collaborate with faculty to improve teaching methodologies and student engagement
- Evaluate and assess educational effectiveness through data analysis
- Contribute to departmental and university committees
- Supervise and mentor graduate assistants and adjunct instructors
Requirements
- A PhD in Education or related field
- At least 5 years of teaching experience at the college level
- Experience in curriculum development and educational research
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Knowledge of educational technology and its integration into teaching
- Experience with educational assessment and evaluation
