About the role
Stockton Unified School District (SUSD) is a large educational institution serving students from preschool through high school and beyond. Established in 1852, SUSD is the 17th largest school district in California, educating approximately 38,000 PK-12th grade students annually. In addition to traditional K-12 education, SUSD offers programs for adults through its Stockton School For Adults. Responsibilities
The responsibilities of this position are aligned with the district's mission to ensure every student graduates college, career, and community ready. Key duties include:
- Implementing rigorous curriculum and supporting academic achievement.
- Engaging in social-emotional development through Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS).
- Ensuring all students reach proficiency in reading and comprehension by the end of third grade.
- Providing high-quality first instruction to all students.
- Guiding students towards successful completion of secondary education and readiness for higher education or employment.
Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.

Qualifications
