Shift Primarily 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday – Friday. This position may be expected to work outside these hours, if necessary, to accomplish tasks and objectives. Job Summary University of Kentucky Police Captains are responsible for providing the University community with a safe and secure environment in which to work, live and learn. The department is service oriented and specializes in meeting the needs of the campus’ population of students, faculty, staff, patients, and visitors. The major job responsibilities of the HealthCare Captain include division leadership, healthcare operations, communication and compliance, police services, and human and capital resource leadership.
