About the role
Maverick Casino & Hotel Elko is seeking a Poker Dealer to deliver a fun, energetic, and positive gaming experience for guests. No experience is necessary—training is provided. The ideal candidate has high energy, a great attitude, and a desire to have fun at work as part of the Maverick Gaming team.
Responsibilities
- Collect bets and exchange currency for gaming chips
- Take ownership of table safety and security with keen attention to detail
- Promote a safe gaming space
- Follow local gaming laws, regulations, and internal controls
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience
- Minimum six months dealing experience preferred, but not required
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Nevada Gaming License
- Working knowledge of cash handling
- Knowledge of State of Nevada Gambling regulations and rules
Pay
$12 per hour + tips
