Responsibilities
- Develop age-appropriate Pokemon curriculum for after-school students
- Lead weekly in-person classes with enthusiasm and expertise
- Engage students in exploring the Pokemon universe through interactive games, creative projects, and strategic challenges
- Practice strategic thinking, teamwork, and problem-solving in a fun and inclusive environment
- Establish a well-structured and lively classroom
- Foster a positive, supportive, and encouraging learning environment for students of varying skill levels
- Track student growth and offer positive, helpful feedback
- Create a memorable experience for the children in your class
What To Expect
If your resume is a fit, we’ll reach out to set up a screening call on Google Meet. Candidates advancing from screenings will have a second video interview, in which we will ask you to share a sample lesson plan. The final step of the process is onboarding into our platform, ready to accept classes!
We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses and identifying potential inconsistencies or verification signals in application materials based on available information. These tools assist our recruitment team but do not replace human judgment. Final hiring decisions are ultimately made by humans.
Teachers in the Togetherhood network are paid per class, either flat rate or per-student (determined by the partner school). This is contracted, supplemental 1099 work. There is a separate materials budget for teachers to use for classes requiring one.
