Responsibilities

  • Performed examinations on patients' legs and feet to identify and diagnose various diseases and conditions.
  • Provided treatment for foot and leg injuries, such as fractures, corns, and calluses.
  • Recommended and prescribed medication for relieving joint pain and suggested foot orthoses to enhance mobility and alleviate discomfort.
  • Offered guidance and advice to patients regarding foot care and overall wellness practices.
  • Requested additional medical tests as necessary based on the initial assessments.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree
  • DEA License
  • Long-term care experience
  • Travel between assigned facilities required
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 20 pounds and stand / walk / work on your feet up to 6-8 hours per day
