Responsibilities
- Performed examinations on patients' legs and feet to identify and diagnose various diseases and conditions.
- Provided treatment for foot and leg injuries, such as fractures, corns, and calluses.
- Recommended and prescribed medication for relieving joint pain and suggested foot orthoses to enhance mobility and alleviate discomfort.
- Offered guidance and advice to patients regarding foot care and overall wellness practices.
- Requested additional medical tests as necessary based on the initial assessments.
Requirements
- Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree
- DEA License
- Long-term care experience
- Travel between assigned facilities required
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 20 pounds and stand / walk / work on your feet up to 6-8 hours per day
