Podiatrist

LOCATION: Merced, Turlock & Modesto, CA JOB TYPE: Full-Time SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts; 8 AM-5 PM, Wednesdays 9 AM-6 PM SETTING: Clinics, long-term care facilities (LTCs), and skilled nursing facilities (SNFs) PATIENT VOLUME: Approximately 22-25 patients/day Summary Provide specialized podiatric care for patients in clinic and long-term care settings, treating foot, ankle, and lower-extremity conditions while collaborating with other healthcare professionals. Responsibilities Diagnose and treat foot, ankle, and lower-extremity conditions.Provide wound care and management.Prescribe medications and orthotic devices.Educate patients on foot health and preventive care.Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient confidentiality. Qualifications Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from an accredited school.Completion of a Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Residency.Board certified or board eligible in Podiatry.Active state Podiatry license.Current BLS and DEA required.Strong clinical, communication, critical-thinking, and interpersonal skills.Senior care or teaching hospital experience advantageous.
