Location: Sacramento, CA Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-hour day shifts Setting: Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs) Position Overview Seeking a compassionate and skilled Podiatrist to join its team in Sacramento, CA. This opportunity involves providing podiatric care to patients in skilled nursing facilities, focusing on foot and ankle conditions, wound care, mobility, and preventive health. Key Responsibilities Diagnose and treat foot, ankle, and lower-extremity conditions.Provide wound assessment and management.Prescribe medications and orthotic devices as appropriate.Educate patients on foot health and preventive care.Collaborate with nursing staff and healthcare professionals.Maintain accurate clinical documentation. Requirements Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree.Completion of a Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Residency.Board-certified or board-eligible in podiatry.Active California podiatry license.Current BLS certification and DEA registration.Strong clinical and communication skills.
