Essential Functions, Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Demonstrates knowledge of etiologies, risk factors, pathophysiology, and epidemiology of medical conditions.
- Utilizes critical thinking to synthesize and analyze collected data.
- Develops, implements, and alters the plans of care as indicated.
- Demonstrates proficiency in procedural skills pertinent to practice area.
Patient Care
- Provides compassionate care, incorporating the patient and family in care planning and treatment across settings.
- Serves as an advocate for patients and families in navigating the health care system.
- Clinical documentation, including coding and billing, meets all required standards.
- Utilization and proficiency of EHR, allowing for timely completion of documentation.
Practice Based Learning and Clinical Improvement
- Demonstrates insight into own strengths, limitations, and knowledge deficits, continuously seeking opportunities for clinical advancement and skill attainment.
- Actively participates in self-evaluation by seeking and utilizing guidance and constructive feedback in a professional manner.
Communication and Interdisciplinary Collaboration
- Works and communicates effectively with multidisciplinary team members, all related health professionals, patients and their families.
- Promotes mutual respect and trust working within a team model.
Education & Experience
- Doctoral degree in podiatric medicine.
- Completion of accredited residency with board qualification or certification.
Pay Range
$150,000 - $180,000 per year
