Pneumatics Tester

About the role

We are looking for a meticulous and technically minded Pneumatics Tester to join our talented technical team. In this hands-on role, you will work with aviation components in a fast-paced, FAA-regulated environment, playing a critical role in ensuring the safety and reliability of aircraft systems through functional and pressure testing of pneumatic components.

Responsibilities

• Conduct functional and pressure testing on aircraft pneumatic components.
• Test, troubleshoot, and verify the functionality of pneumatic components, including valves, regulators, actuators, and other related systems.
• Operate manual and automated test equipment.
• Analyze test data to verify component performance and identify potential issues.
• Ensure all components meet applicable performance and safety standards before being approved for return to service.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Utilize diagnostic and measurement tools such as pressure gauges, flow meters, and leak detectors.
• Prepare and maintain accurate test reports and documentation.
• Identify testing discrepancies and communicate findings to the appropriate technical personnel.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe testing work area.
• Support technicians, engineering, and quality personnel as needed during testing and troubleshooting activities.
