Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage projects through preliminary design, entitlement processing, construction documentation, and permitting using established workflows and delivery standards.
- Coordinate consultants and vendors to ensure timely, consistent delivery of plans, reports, and technical documentation.
- Track permit status and approvals across multiple active projects, maintaining visibility into agency timelines and constraints.
- Develop, maintain, and update project schedules and budgets; support entitlement processing, agency coordination, and plan check management.
- Provide routine project reporting, including schedule, budget, risk, and action tracking, with proactive mitigation strategies.
- Support continuous improvement by identifying process efficiencies and lessons learned across projects.
Minimum Work Experience
- 3+ years of project management experience in real estate development, architecture, engineering, or construction, preferably within multi-site or multi-project programs.
- Experience working with a local jurisdiction either directly or providing services as a 3rd party consultant is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to manage parallel workflows, direct consultants, and navigate entitlement, permitting, and plan check processes.
- Experience coordinating with general contractors, including construction sequencing, RFI and submittal tracking, and field issue resolution.
- Working knowledge of due diligence processes, site investigation reports, feasibility analysis, schedules, budgets, and regulatory frameworks.
- Experience managing client coordination, consultant contracts, and structured project communications.
- Direct experience submitting plans and interfacing with municipalities and public agencies.
- Proficiency with project tracking and scheduling tools such as Smartsheet, MS Project, and Excel; Adobe Creative Suite and/or AutoCAD experience is a plus.
Preferred Education & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, urban planning, real estate development, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to lead structured meetings and document decisions clearly.
- High level of organization with experience managing multiple active projects under standardized delivery frameworks.
- Ability to produce accurate, repeatable reporting to support program-level decision-making.
- Proficiency in project controls, documentation, and tracking systems.
- Analytical, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to anticipate risks and drive resolution.
- Professional, collaborative approach with a focus on accountability and long-term client relationships.
Physical Requirements
- Attend meetings at job sites, municipal offices (including hearings), and TAIT offices.
- Ability to drive to job sites, client meetings and deliver plan sets to agencies as required.
- Ability to lift and carry plan sets weighing up to 20 lbs (cart provided).
Salary & Benefits
Salary Range: $75,000 – $115,000 annually
