PMO Project Manager

PMO Project Manager (SAP S/4HANA) Engagement Requirements Remote - 1st day onsite and onsite required 1 week every month.The resource shall work virtually/remotely, with onsite attendance required for one (1) week per month, as scheduled by the client, and for additional in-person meetings, work sessions, planned implementations, or system issues as needed. In-person interviews or work sessions with stakeholders will be conducted at the client facilities in Middletown, PA.The resource shall attend an orientation session onsite at Middletown, PA offices. The resource shall be onsite for the full day of this orientation where they will pick up any assigned client Equipment. Equipment will not be shipped and cannot be picked up by anyone other than the selected resource. Travel costs associated with picking up this equipment plus the orientation day will not be reimbursed. Description Of Duties Wave 2 is a complex, enterprise-wide SAP S/4HANA enhancement initiative involving one of the client s core business applications and numerous interconnected systems, business processes, and stakeholders. Successful delivery will require a highly motivated, experienced PM with exceptional organizational, communication, coordination, and leadership skills. The PM must be capable of managing multiple concurrent workstreams, navigating technical and business dependencies, proactively identifying and mitigating risks, and coordinating effectively with IT teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and executive leadership. The selected resource will be expected to provide strong project governance, maintain accountability for deliverables, milestones, and budget estimations, as well as ensure that Wave 2 initiatives remain aligned with Client s strategic priorities, operational needs, and established project management standards. Current SAP Environment CLIENT operates a complex, cloud-based, multi-tiered, multi-client SAP environment that includes, but is not limited to, the following platforms and solutions: SAP S/4HANASAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC)SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)SAP DatasphereSAP Service and Asset Manager (SSAM) The SAP environment also supports numerous critical integrations with internal and external systems, including: SmartDocs: Vendor PortalSAP SuccessFactors: Recruiting, Onboarding, Employee Central (EC) Mini Master, and CompensationOnBase: Document ManagementAgileAssets: Signs, Tunnels, and Pavement/Road Asset ManagementServiceNow: Change Management and Asset TrackingQlik Sense: Data Analytics and DashboardingBoard: Operating BudgetMicrosoft Dynamics 365Kahua: Engineering Project ManagementFinancial InstitutionsBenefit Providers The Selected Candidate Will Perform The Following Duties Manages and coordinates the activities of internal and/or external staff involved in multiple IT projects of varying complexity.Develops and maintains project artifacts as required using client or other established project management standards, procedures, templates, and methodologies.Builds and manages the detailed integrated project plan and schedule that captures all task level detail with deliverables, milestones, cross-functional dependencies, etc. while mapping the critical path.Estimates and maintains cost plan(s) during all phases of the project.Plan and schedule resources efficiently by ensuring that the right resources are allocated and available to the right project activities at the right time.Forecasts and enables resource capacity planning in a dynamically changing business environment. It is critical to forecast and get real-time foresight into project resourcing so that the project can take corrective actions ahead of time.Establishes project governance framework with a structured approach to govern the project activities. This framework must have well-defined roles, responsibilities, escalation paths, and decision-making processes.Coordinates with business owners and other analysts to define and refine the project scope.Performs project management duties through the entire project lifecycle, including initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, and controlling, and closing.Conducts lessons learned sessions during and after projects to identify recommendations for improvement.Develops and maintains a productive working relationship with technology staff, business owners, project sponsors, vendors, and key clients.Coordinates all project activities with System Integrator Project Managers including interrelated projects within the client landscape. Manages all project artifacts including signoffs.Adheres to the client PMO Playbook and referenced artifacts. Desired Skillset/Minimum Experience The ideal candidate will have a minimum of ten (10) years of expertise in project/project management of projects of various size and subject matter, including but not limited to integration, scope, schedule, communication, vendor, and risk planning and management. The candidate must have experience managing high profile subject matter vendors within the on-prem and cloud landscape.Experience with Enterprise Business Solutions, specifically SAP/ERP projects as a Project Manager.Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.Experience with multi-year projects.Strong skills with leadership, conflict management, and negotiation.Must have expert level knowledge and extensive experience in creating and maintaining integrated plans in MS Project and or MS Project online.Excellent written and oral communication, and presentation skills.
