PM Tech

About the role

County Waste has an immediate opening for a PM Tech to join their growing team at the South Cairo, NY site. The position is overtime eligible and includes an annual boot allowance, quarterly safety bonuses, stable year‑round employment, weekly pay, and a quarterly tool allowance.

Responsibilities

• Providing preventative maintenance check services
• Training with senior techs to further skill set
• Completing required paperwork utilizing fleet maintenance software program associated with repairing vehicles, documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair times
• Completing, or assigning minor repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports
• Advising supervisor on larger repairs
• Conducting safety checks on vehicles and equipment
• Performing service calls for emergency breakdowns
• Maintaining a clean, safe work environment in compliance with corporate and OSHA standards

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License
• Ability to adapt to a wide variety of environments to complete work assignments
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Welding/fabrication experience (a major plus)

Pay

Pay Rate: $25.00 to $27.00 per hour (dependent on experience).

Schedule

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 5:00 pm (50 to 55 hours per week); Saturdays as needed.
