PM Tech

About the role

ACE Carting and County Waste have an immediate opening for a PM Tech to join our growing team. This is a shared location role that will provide support to both ACE Carting (Fort Ann, NY) and County Waste (Johnstown, NY) with a regular schedule of three days per week at one location and two days per week at the other.

Responsibilities

• Initiating or assigning repairs by utilizing vehicle computer electronic systems to interpret failure modes
• Completing required paperwork utilizing fleet maintenance software program associated with repairing vehicles, documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair times
• Reviewing, completing, or assigning repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports
• Conducting safety checks on vehicles and equipment
• Performing service calls for emergency breakdowns
• Maintaining a clean, safe work environment in compliance with corporate and OSHA standards

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of proven experience in the field
• Valid Driver's License with Clean Driving Record
• Schedule flexibility to work 2nd shift Monday-Friday and occasional Saturdays
• Ability to adapt to a wide variety of environments to complete work assignments
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Skills

• Welding/fabrication experience, a major plus

Pay

$26.00 to $28.00 per hour (Dependent on experience)

Schedule

Monday - Friday 8am -6pm / 50 to 55 hours per week / Saturday's as needed
