PM Server Assistant - Part-time - $17.50 per hour

About the Role

The Server Assistant is responsible primarily for assisting the food server in serving the guests. This person must have good communication skills as well as the ability to lift, pull, and push moderate weight. This is a fast-paced position with continual customer contact.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to grooming standards and expectations in our business casual environment.
• Attend to the cleanliness of the restaurant as needed.
• Be knowledgeable of menu options and daily specials.
• Provide a friendly, warm, and genuine environment.
• Maintain communication with serving staff and leaders.
• Assist with side work duties as needed.
• Demonstrate adaptability and a collaborative spirit by supporting various Food and Beverage operations as needed, including restaurant service and banquet functions.
• Accept and fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned by leadership, acknowledging that duties may evolve and are not limited to those listed.

Qualifications

• Refined verbal communication skills.
• A true desire to serve others in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be available to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Previous customer service experience.
• Full-service restaurant experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and be mobile for 90% or more of each shift.
• Must be able to lift and carry a moderate amount of weight.
• Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods of time (6-8 hours) a day. Ability to lift 25lbs. Bending to reach cabinets.
