PM Sanitation Worker
About the role
Sanitation Workers play a critical role in our plants, working within a team to clean production equipment, machines, and work areas where food is processed daily. This position ensures food safety and workspace cleanliness, enabling the production of top-quality seafood products at high volume.
The role involves significant physical activity, including standing and moving for most of the shift, handling high-pressure hoses (e.g., 250 psi), lifting heavy containers of chemicals, and emptying trash receptacles. Workers are also responsible for the proper storage and management of chemicals and sanitizers.

Requirements
- Valid ID
- Ability to follow instructions
- Willingness to work with others to achieve production goals
- Ability to arrive on time and be prepared for the workday
- Ability to work through the night
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to lift 30-50 pounds
- Work up to a 10-hour workday: standing/walking most of the day
- Hand use: single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling
- Work requires bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching
- Exposure to FDA-approved cleaning chemicals
- Exposure to temperatures below 32 degrees Fahrenheit
- Ability to work in wet and dry conditions
- Ability to work Monday-Friday, with weekends as needed
- Ability to use tools and equipment, including knives
Schedule
This is a PM shift starting in the early afternoon and working through the evening, often past midnight.
