PM RESORT HOUSEPERSON

From $18.00/hour. Variable shifts Monday–Sunday, 2:00 PM to 12:00 AM (5 shifts/week, 8-hour increments). Full-time year-round benefited positions available; part-time year-round and seasonal positions also offered.

About the role

Maintain resort premises in a clean and orderly manner according to hotel standards. Attend to guests' requests promptly, transport housekeeping materials for delivery or removal using a Sundance vehicle, and share the Sundance story of land preservation and environmental commitment as opportunities arise.

Responsibilities

• Check in and out keys and radios from the safety office.
• Check in and out Sundance vehicle daily, ensuring cleanliness and following safety guidelines.
• Check in daily by 2:00 PM with Housekeeping Management to receive assignments.
• Stock wood and clean fireplaces as needed (during winter months).
• Deliver amenities to all checkouts and ensure turnovers are completed by 3:00 PM.
• Keep housekeeping storage closets stocked with linen and paper products and maintain their cleanliness.
• Fulfill guest requests within fifteen minutes; report delays to the front desk.
• Maintain a clean appearance and positive interactions when making deliveries to guests.
• Empty and sort trash and recycling bins daily, complying with no-idling and recycling policies.
• Educate guests on recycling and Sundance’s environmental commitment as needed.
• Keep radio on to communicate effectively with supervisors and room attendants.
• Transport dirty linen and trash from housekeeping closets to appropriate containers.
• Lock linen closets at the end of the day.
• Follow Sundance Housekeeping protocols for cleanliness and safety.
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions or indoors as required.

Requirements

• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• Knowledge of carpet shampooing and window washing is a plus.
• Ability to operate 2-way radios for staff communication.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license in good standing, as determined by Sundance’s Insurance Company guidelines.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds.
• Must be 19 years of age or older.
