About the role

Clair Tappaan Lodge is a mountain ski hostel located on Donner Summit. It was built by the Sierra Club in the 1930's. The lodge is brimming with history and lore. It's truly an amazing place and an exceptional place to work. Come work with us and become a part of Sierra Nevada history!

Responsibilities

• Clean guest and back office restrooms
• Sweep, mop and vacuum hallways, back offices and common areas
• Wipe down tables, chairs, desks, walls, equipment etc.
• Assist other departments as needed
• Dust furniture and fixtures
• Follow hotel security guidelines
• Get permission from supervisor or manager before clocking out

Requirements

• Flexibility to work in shifts and report for scheduled shifts
• Able to work with little or no supervision while meeting high-performance standards
• Excellent organization skills
• Ability to follow instructions

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred
• Work experience as a Room Attendant or Maid preferred
• Experience with hotel cleaning standards and products preferred
