About the role
Vori Health is seeking a Virtual First, non-opioid-focused Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) Physician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills, a passion for innovative integrated care, and experience evaluating and treating musculoskeletal conditions, especially pelvic floor and pelvic health conditions.
Responsibilities
- Virtually evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients
- Participate in full-time or part-time clinic schedules, including evenings and weekends
- Attend weekly patient rounds and collaborate with a care team that includes physical therapists, nurse practitioners, and health coaches
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge through continuing education and participation in professional organizations
- Grow non-clinical skills through involvement in internal work groups and task forces
- Focus on outstanding total patient experience and supervise nurse practitioners
Requirements
- Board certification in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (preferred), or equivalent credentials
- At least 3 years of clinical practice after training in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, Sports Medicine, Spine, or Musculoskeletal Medicine
- MD/DO with unrestricted license and ability to obtain multiple state licenses
- Demonstrated experience evaluating and treating musculoskeletal conditions in a non-operative setting
- Competent and passionate about digital care delivery
- Outstanding written and spoken communication skills
- Proven record of matching patient needs to treatment plans and implementing them safely and effectively
- Experience administering a wide range of techniques delivered digitally
- Strong sense of empathy and ability to motivate patients
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- High-speed internet and ability to work from home
Qualifications
- Bilingual, Spanish preferred
- Experience with administration of GLP-1 medications
- Experience with fracture care and bone health management
- Ability to maintain attention to detail while seeing the big picture
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Proven record of prioritizing tasks and delegating appropriately
- Critical thinking skills, flexibility, and ability to design innovative solutions
- Comfort working within a startup environment

Schedule
Full-time and part-time applicants will be considered. Clinic schedules include at least one evening per week and may include weekend rotations.
