PM&R Physician
About the role
The PM&R Physician will join an established practice at Baylor St. Luke's Medical Group in Lufkin, TX. The role involves providing comprehensive rehabilitation care, conducting functional assessments, and developing individualized treatment plans for patients with complex needs. The position requires a BC/BE Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) physician with a passion for patient care, strong clinical skills, and a commitment to high-quality comprehensive care.
Responsibilities
- Practice alongside an experienced PM&R physician in the only acute care rehab hospital in the area.
- See both hospital and office-based patients.
- Work a traditional Monday through Friday schedule with alternating weekend coverage.
- Perform EMG/nerve conduction studies, therapeutic botox injections, and medical acupuncture.
- Utilize Epic EMR system.
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
- Active or eligible license in the state of Texas, or ability to obtain prior to employment.
- Completion of an ACGME Residency program.
- American Board Certification and active BLS certification.
- Pain management experience is preferred.
Qualifications
- Experience with EMG/nerve conduction studies, therapeutic botox injections, and medical acupuncture.
- Knowledge of Epic EMR system.
- No state income tax.

Pay and Recognition
The posted compensation range is $258,050 - $393,798/year, reflecting the lowest to highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.
