PM Preventative Maintenance Engineer C - Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the operation, maintenance, and repair of hotel equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on: Ice machines, refrigerators and freezers, kitchen equipment, laundry equipment, HVAC systems, exhaust and supply fans, meeting room equipment, swimming pools and hot tubs.
• Monitor and support energy-conservation efforts throughout the property.
• Perform basic plumbing repairs.
• Repair or troubleshoot laundry equipment.
• Repair vacuum cleaners and other small equipment as needed.
• Respond to work orders and guest requests in a timely, professional manner.

Safety, Communication & Team Support

• Maintain a safe working environment by following hotel and OSHA guidelines.
• Communicate clearly with supervisors, managers, and other departments.
• Document completed tasks accurately in the hotel’s work-order system.
• Support engineering leadership with additional tasks or special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of building maintenance experience (hotel experience preferred).
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Open availability, including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Must have open PM availability.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems is a plus.
