Responsibilities
- Cleanliness & Sanitation: Maintain high standards of appearance in the lobby, front entrance, hallways, and public restrooms by dusting, mopping, polishing glass, and emptying trash.
- Guest Assistance: Warmly greet patrons, provide basic directions, answer inquiries, and assist with luggage or special needs.
- Public Area Upkeep: Monitor and maintain peripheral spaces such as the business center, fitness areas, and complimentary breakfast or lounge zones.
- Supply Restocking: Frequently check lobby restrooms and coffee stations, refilling necessities like toilet paper, soap, and napkins.
- Reporting & Safety: Promptly report any property damage, safety hazards, or broken furniture to the maintenance or management teams.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand or walk for extended shifts and lift/carry items up to 50 pounds.
- Customer Service Skills: A friendly, approachable demeanor and the ability to interact professionally with diverse guests.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for identifying messes and ensuring high cleanliness standards.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work a varied schedule, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Experience: Previous background in commercial cleaning, housekeeping, or hospitality-based customer service is preferred.
Pay
$15.16 - $15.5/hour
About the Role
The hotel lobby attendant ensures the property's public spaces remain pristine, welcoming, and safe. Acting as a key point of contact, they blend housekeeping duties with light guest services. This is a PM Shift position.
