About the Role

Hilton Des Moines Downtown is seeking a Line Cook to join their team. Located in the heart of downtown Des Moines, this modern, full-service hotel offers contemporary accommodations, diverse dining and event spaces, and a strong focus on exceptional guest service. The role requires open availability in the evenings, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality dishes according to designated recipes and quality standards
• Manage guest orders efficiently while ensuring a positive dining experience
• Execute advanced cooking techniques (e.g., sauces, roasting, grilling, plating) and work independently as needed
• Inspect all preparations and dishes to ensure quality and presentation standards are met
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workspace, following proper food handling, storage, and safety protocols
• Manage multiple tickets/orders simultaneously, assist with training, and perform minor supervisory duties
• Comply with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations
