About the role
The Line Cook is responsible for cooking and preparing menu items as requested by customers, stocking and maintaining food prep stations, and keeping a clean, organized workspace during and after service. This role is essential to delivering the high-quality, globally inspired dishes LoLa 41 is known for, in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items to LoLa 41’s exacting standards
- Stock and maintain all food preparation stations
- Ensure kitchen cleanliness and organization during and after service
- Follow health, safety, and HACCP standards
- Aid in high-volume production while maintaining consistency and quality
- Support the BOH team and promote a positive, professional kitchen culture
Requirements
- Previous experience in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen
- Ability and stamina to lift and carry heavy items routinely
- Commitment to work 5–6 days per week
- Flexibility and adaptability in scheduling
- Knowledge of food prep, cooking techniques, and kitchen safety protocols
- Culinary Degree or Equivalent Experience (Preferred)
- High-volume production and cost control experience is a plus
