PM Houseperson

From $18.00/hour. Variable shifts Monday–Sunday, 2:00 PM to 12:00 AM (5 shifts/week, 8-hour increments). Full-time year-round benefited positions available; part-time year-round and seasonal positions also available.

About the role

Maintains resort premises in a clean and orderly manner according to hotel standards. Attends to guests' requests in a timely manner, transporting housekeeping materials for delivery or removal using a Sundance vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Check in and out keys and radios from the safety office.
• Check in and out Sundance vehicle to carry out daily duties, ensuring cleanliness and following Sundance safety vehicle guidelines.
• Check in daily by 2:00 PM with Housekeeping Management to receive assignments.
• Stock wood and clean fireplaces as needed (during the winter months).
• Deliver amenities to all checkouts and ensure turnovers are done by 3:00 PM.
• Keep housekeeping storage closets stocked with linen and paper products.
• Maintain housekeeping closets cleanliness.
• Fulfill guest requests within fifteen minutes; report if requests will take longer than 15 minutes to the front desk.
• Maintain a clean appearance and positive interactions when making deliveries to guests.
• Ensure trash and recycling bins are emptied daily and sorted and disposed of properly.
• Comply with no-idling policy.
• Support the recycling program and educate guests as needed.
• Share the Sundance story of land preservation and environmental commitment as the occasion arises.
• Keep radio on to effectively communicate with supervisors and room attendants at all times.
• Take dirty linen and trash from the housekeeping closets to the appropriate containers.
• Lock linen closets at the end of the day.
• Follow Sundance Housekeeping protocols for cleanliness and safety.
• Work outdoors in the elements or indoors as required.

Requirements

• Previous housekeeping experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of carpet shampoo and window washing is a plus.
• Operate 2-way radios for communication to other staff.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license in good standing as determined by Sundance’s Insurance Company guidelines.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds.
• Must be 19 years of age or older.
