Must be at least 18 years of age
Must have knowledge of basic principles of food production
Must be physically able to waist lift a minimum of 50# and overhead lift a maximum of 25#, with frequent waist lifting and overhead lifting of objects up to 25%
Must be able to push and/or pull objects with a maximum effort of 25%
Must be able to stand or walk for 6-8 hours in an 8 hour day
Must be able to frequently bend, squat and twist body during an 8 hour day
Must be able to attend mandatory all staff meetings and dietary department meetings
Must be able to read and write
Must be willing to work weekends and holidays

To prepare high quality, tasty foods in specified quantities
To serve meals at the stated times
To follow all menus, therapeutic diets and production sheets in the preparation of meals
To maintain orderliness in working area
To accurately weigh and measure food ingredients
To supervise dietary personnel working on your shift
To follow safety measures when using all equipment and appliances
To clean all equipment used in food preparation
