We offer a variety of benefits, which include: Pay Range $75,000-$145,000Three Kaiser Medical Plans to select from with a 100% Company Paid OptionDental & Vision InsuranceVoluntary Life Insurance & Accident Coverage optionsCompany Paid Short Term Disability, Long Term Disability & Basic LifeEmployee Assistance Programs401K Plan with 4% Company MatchPaid Vacation & Paid Sick TimeMaternity & Paternity PayBereavement PayCompany Paid Uniforms ProvidedTool Account Program Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Conduct thorough inspections of underground utility systems to identify defects, leaks, and damageAnalyze inspection results to diagnose the cause of issues, such as leaks, blockages, or system failuresDevelop effective repair strategies and solutions based on diagnostic findingsPerform necessary repairs, replacements, or maintenance on underground utility systems, following industry standards and safety guidelinesInstall, replace, or repair pipes, connectors, and related componentsPlan and execute sewer drain & water line replacement projects, including excavation, pipe removal, and installation of new sewer/ water linesSafely operate excavation equipment, including excavators and backhoes, to dig trenches for accessing sewer/ water linesEnsure the proper excavation depth and safety standards are maintained during the processOperate heavy machinery and equipment for excavation and backfilling tasksAdhere to all safety regulations and protocols to protect both personal and public safetyEnsure all work is compliant with local, state, and federal regulations related to underground utility systemsMaintain detailed records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance workCommunicate with residential property owners and clients regarding repairs, timelines, and expectations on backfillAddress client concerns and answer questions professionally and courteouslyEnsure the proper maintenance and care of tools, equipment, and vehicles used in underground repair workReport any equipment issues for repair or replacementPreparing job truck and trailer with tools and material needed for projectKeep the job site clean, safe, and organizedCare for tools and equipmentAssist in preparing existing line for liner installMeasure and weigh proper materials to be used for installationReconnect small plumbing fixtures Qualifications: Experience operating/ handling mini excavators, skid steers, trench shields, and shoringMechanically mindedAbility to lift and move heavy materialsCurrent driver's license with good driving record, CDL a plusExperienced in installing residential/ light commercial underground drain and water systemsOSHA 10/ Trenching & Shoring class3-5+ years in excavation, underground pipe replacementExperience in CIPP Lining a plus, hydro-jetting, CCTVWillingness to learn specialized skills for successful liner installsMechanically mindedAbility to lift and move heavy materialsCurrent driver's license with good driving recordExperience in sewer drain cleaning Physical Demands/Working Conditions: To adequately perform the duties of this job, the employee is regularly and routinely required to sit, stand, walk, kneel, squat, stoop hands to finger, handle controls; hear, and talk. The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms. The employee must be able to climb ladders, work in hot and cold environments, and work in small crawl spaces. The employee must regularly lift and/or move 50lbs and up. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. The work environment can vary depending on the season and scope of work - employees are required to work outdoors throughout the seasons. The work environment will subject employees to continual interruptions and changing priorities. Effective, consistent, and constant communication with customers, vendors, co-workers, and others is required.
