About the role

As a Plumbing Superintendent at Airo Mechanical, you will assume a leadership role in overseeing Plumbing projects from start to finish. You will be responsible for managing all on-site aspects of Plumbing installations, ensuring safety, quality, and timely completion. This role presents an opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the success of challenging and rewarding projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage Plumbing projects, including planning, scheduling, and execution, to meet project objectives and client expectations.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of Plumbing technicians, subcontractors, and other personnel involved in the project.
  • Ensure that Plumbing installations comply with project specifications, codes, and safety standards.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols, conducting regular safety meetings and inspections to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Manage project resources, including materials, equipment, and labor, to maximize efficiency and productivity.
  • Maintain positive relationships with clients, addressing their concerns and providing project updates as needed.
  • Identify and resolve project-related issues and challenges promptly to minimize disruptions.
  • Maintain accurate project records, including daily reports, progress reports, and as-built drawings.
  • Assist in monitoring project budgets and controlling costs effectively.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Plumbing Superintendent in commercial and industrial projects.
  • Strong knowledge of Plumbing systems, installation methods, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Familiarity with project management software and tools.
  • Solid understanding of safety regulations and practices in construction.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
  • OSHA 10-Hour Construction Safety Certification preferred.
  • Plumbing-related certifications and licenses a plus.
  • A valid driver’s license.
