About the role
The Plumbing Superintendent plays a critical leadership role in overseeing all field activities for plumbing installations on commercial and industrial projects. You’ll manage crews, coordinate with project teams, maintain safety and quality standards, and ensure work is executed efficiently and according to plan. This position is ideal for a proactive leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, builds strong relationships, and takes pride in delivering exceptional results for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all field activities for plumbing installations on commercial and industrial projects
- Manage crews and coordinate with project teams
- Maintain safety and quality standards
- Ensure work is executed efficiently and according to plan
- Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and submittals
- Plan work sequences, forecast manpower, and maintain schedules
- Maintain a culture of safety, quality, and professionalism
- Solve problems proactively with a solution-driven mindset
Requirements
- 7+ years of commercial plumbing field experience, including supervisory or lead-level responsibility
- Journeyman or Master Plumber license strongly preferred
- Experience supervising plumbing installations on large commercial or industrial projects
- Solid understanding of construction scheduling, sequencing, and productivity management
- Familiarity with mechanical construction software platforms a plus
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites as needed
- OSHA-30 certification is required (training provided if not currently possessed)
