Plumbing Superintendent

About the role

The Plumbing Superintendent oversees all plumbing operations within the facility, ensuring compliance with local building codes and company standards. They are responsible for managing a team of plumbers and performing complex plumbing repairs and installations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily plumbing tasks and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
• Manage a team of plumbers, providing guidance and training as needed.
• Perform complex plumbing repairs and installations, including but not limited to, water supply systems, drainage systems, and HVAC plumbing.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with local building codes and company standards.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve plumbing issues that affect cross-functional operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Plumbing or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in plumbing operations.
• Valid journeyman plumber’s license.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a team.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in using plumbing tools and equipment.
• Experience with various types of plumbing systems and materials.
• Knowledge of local plumbing codes and regulations.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.

Pay
