Essential Job Functions
- Execute effective troubleshooting techniques to identify root causes of plumbing issues
- Perform timely and accurate repairs to resolve plumbing and drain issues
- Always explain to the customer what service you are performing and give exact prices & gain approval before doing the work
- Establish customer rapport to sell the right products and services for the customer's needs and wants
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, equipment, and fixtures
- Achieve compliance with local plumbing codes and regulations
- Show yourself as professional and knowledgeable to win new referrals and repeat business
- Maintain your truck so that it is always neat and clean on the inside and outside
- Work alongside Customer Service and Dispatch team to ensure overall success of the business
- Maintain detailed records of services, including documenting pictures of before and after services have been completed
- Always be safety conscious both on the job and while driving
- Participate actively in all training exercises, morning meetings and retreats
- Train and mentor apprentices to ensure quick, accurate repairs and installations
Essential Job Requirements
- 3+ years of experience with diagnostic troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of residential plumbing, water heaters, tankless, and filtration
- Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills
- Journeyman / Tradesmen license or able to obtain within 6 months
- Knowledge of drain machines, camera, and locater equipment
- Knowledgeable and skilled in the safe use and maintenance of required tools
- High School Diploma or GED
- Basic computer skills, ability to use an iPad to document work
- Ability to speak, read, and write fluently in the English language
Physical Demands & Work Environment
- While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear
- The employee is frequently required to walk; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 150 pounds
- The employee must be comfortable working in tight spaces for an extended period of time in attics and crawl spaces as needed
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
- The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; extreme cold and extreme heat
- The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; outside weather conditions and vibration
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
Compensation & Hours
Commission Pay based on experience
Hours: 700 a.m. - 500 p.m. (flexible start and end times depending on business needs)
Days: Monday - Friday, on call rotation
