Plumbing Service Helper

Responsibilities

• Holds, positions, and reads tape to assist in layout.
• Places and moves equipment and materials.
• Positions and turns clamps; screws, bolts, and hammers parts together out.
• Uses tools and equipment properly and only if certified (as required).
• Transports and furnishes the Technician Mechanic with materials, tools, and supplies.
• Cleans work area, machines, tools, and equipment; ensures that tools, equipment, and materials are stored properly and securely.
• Performs other routine duties.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn.
• Punctual.
• 0-1 year experience (if applicable).

Work Environment

• Frequent exposure to outside weather conditions.
• Occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts and high, precarious places.
• Frequent standing, walking, using hands to finger, handle, or feel, reaching with hands and arms, climbing or balancing, talking or hearing.
• Sitting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
• Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 100 pounds.
