Plumbing Sales Specialist
About the Role
You'll run sales calls set by technicians and customers calling in for estimates. The hardest part of sales — getting an invitation to sit down and chat — is already done for you. Each call is set up with an audience who wants to hear what you have to say. You'll act as a project manager for customers, supporting them before, during, and after installation to ensure they know what to expect. You'll work closely with the plumbing team, making sure everyone has the information needed to get the customer taken care of. You'll take detailed notes and maintain timely communication across emails, calls, and texts as the connecting point between the customer and the plumbers completing the project.
Responsibilities
- Run pre-set in-home sales calls with homeowners requesting estimates
- Serve as project manager for customers throughout the installation process (before, during, and after)
- Coordinate with the plumbing team to ensure all parties have necessary information
- Maintain thorough, detailed notes and respond promptly to emails, calls, and texts
Company Culture
This position offers a great balance of independent and team-based work. The sales team believes in the company's commitment to doing things the right way, not the easy way, with service held to a high standard. Working in HVAC and plumbing makes a tangible difference in community safety and comfort across the Carolinas. Morris-Jenkins has been voted a Top Workplace 10 times by the Charlotte Observer, and the culture includes company breakfasts, fiestas, contests, and more.
Ideal Candidate
You're a natural storyteller who loves painting pictures with words. You have prior sales experience — ideally in plumbing or in-home presentations — and believe in making things easy for customers. You're friendly, helpful, clean-cut, competitive, driven, assertive but respectful, and looking for a career with challenges and opportunities to win.
